Amanda and Romalee’s wedding was likely one of the most lovely backyard wedding I’ve ever photographed. They put so much thought and work into all of the little details. Everything looked absolutely perfect. I loved all the details. The florals and dresses were all so gorgeous and unique. I love weddings that aren’t like the rest!
I arrived just before the ceremony to get a few getting ready shots. It was raining when I arrived, but thankfully the rain clouds cleared just in time for the ceremony. (Thank God for weather sealed camera gear!) The clouds above made for a perfectly lit outdoor ceremony.
Amanda’s bouquet held special meaning. She included a single red carnation in memory of her Grandma Leda who passed a few months back. Romalee wore a special croqueted piece on his lapel in memory of their son Romalee Curtis Goins Jr. Through all they’ve been through, Amanda and Romalee amazingly found the strength to go on with the wedding, and I commend them for that. Through all the hardship, the rain on the wedding day, they still smiled through it. That goes to show, for just how strong their love is for each other. I wish them a lifetime of love of happiness. Congratulations Amanda and Romalee!
