Jason & Darci’s proposal was one of my absolute favorites!
Jason reached out to me a few weeks before him and Darci were coming to stay at the Greenbrier. Neither one of them had been here before so I’m sure they were blown away at how gorgeous this place is.
Jason picked a spot to propose so I planned to be there early. I brought along we newly acquired assistant/boyfriend Logan. We waited out on the North Terrace. There were some other guests who I let in on the secret.
When they came out I told them I was a staff photographer and asked if they’d like their picture taken.
I took a few shots then told them to turn and face each other. That’s when Jason got down on one knee and popped the question.
I’ve never seen anybody as surprised as Darci was. She had absolutely no idea it was going to happen. The guests who were out on the terrace with us we wiping tears from their eyes. I had tears in my eyes too. It was a beautiful moment.
After that we went around the resort to different spots for photos. Darci was still in shock the entire time. It was so cute how excited they both were!
I am so blessed to do this. Not only was I able to get some gorgeous photographs for the couple, I was invited to witness and be a part of a huge milestone in their lives.
