Angela and Adam
When Officiant Todd A. Gray reached out and asked me to photograph this wedding I was so excited!! Angela is also a photographer, so it’s always such a compliment when another photographer puts their trust in me.
I got to meet Angela and Adam over a zoom call before the wedding. Turns out they were high school sweethearts and reconnected YEARS later!!
This wedding was an elopement-style ceremony. Todd and I have been blessed to work together a LOT. This was not the first time we’d been the only guests at a wedding.
It’s so special to watch two souls pour their hearts out to each other. And out of all the people in the whole entire world, only just a couple of us were lucky enough to be there to witness it.
Babcock State Park is already a stunning place on its own, BUT to have snow on top of that was icing on the cake!!
Angela had come to Babcock several times and photographed the iconic Grist Mill, so it was super important for her to have photos with the Mill featured. We wanted to include the frozen lake as well, but it was closed for the season (For safety reasons I’m sure)
I was so impressed how well Angela did in the cold. I was in pants, boots, a winter coat and I was still freezing!!!
It’s not often that we shoot a lot of winter weddings, and it’s not too often that these winter weddings actually have snow! So this was a treat!
This wedding day honestly couldn’t have been any better!
