I’ve photographed plenty of surprise proposals and several gender reveals, but this was a first to have a proposal disguised as a gender reveal! Jeffery went alllll out on this. He made a whole video for Kara (which she thought was part of the gender reveal), asking her to marry him at the end. It all went so perfectly!!!

When Charlton reached out to me to have me photograph a surprise proposal at The Greenbrier I was so excited! Suprise proposals are my favorite things to photograph, especially at the Greenbrier.

When Caroline reached out for maternity photos at the Greenbrier I was so excited. I just started offering maternity sessions again since this year. When she showed up, she looked stunning!

I had the joy of photographing Ryan and Dana’s wedding in Bridgeport WV last year. This was one of the first weddings that I actually was able to go inside the house for photos, as covid had changed everything for weddings last year.

As I’m typing this blog post this is way after Covid. I got to photograph this fun branding shoot before Covid happened and when I look through some of the photos I’m almost in shock at how we picked up phones and all different things that we wouldn’t be allowed to do since Covid has happened.

I’m so joyed to write this blog post. As I’m writing this, baby Phoenix was actually born just a couple of days ago.

I’ve known Brian since high school and I’ve known Jamie since college. When I found out these two were a couple I was so excited because they’re so sweet. They make a perfect couple.

Baby Wrynley was the first baby who had the joy of being photographed in our studio. This was actually my first in studio newborn session ever. And it went so great!

I had not offered newborn photos in years. And suddenly within a week I’m getting inquiries for newborn sessions every other day. So I thought why not, maybe I’ll offer them again.

Makayla is one of my clients that I honestly can’t remember how many times I’ve photographed her. I know I did at least two senior sessions for her and a regular portrait session. So this was at least our fourth session together.
